Maine Author to Preach at Hampden Methodist Church

Those who have read and enjoyed Kate Braestrup's books, Here If You Need Me and Marriage and Other Acts of Charity might enjoy hearing her preach this
Sunday, June 27 at 9am at the Hampden Methodist Church.



Chaplain for the Maine Warden Service talks about modern day marriage in her new book.




Kate takes up the dream of her late husband to become a minister for the Maine Warden Service.

Circle of Friends by Maeve Binchy

Maeve Binchy is a popular modern day Irish author. This is her 1990 novel of a couple of young friends who grow up together in a rural Irish town in the 1950's and eventually go off to University in Dublin. There the two girls' relationships become entangled in the life of another girl from their town.

the 6th annual festival with 40 authors from around the state will attend to sign their books, discuss their writing and meet their fans.
