Book Groups Join GetBetterMaine in Reading The Healing of America

GetBetterMaine is the website of The Maine Healthcare Management Coalition Foundation, a charitable organization whose mission is to "bring the people who get care, pay for care, and provide care together in order to measure and improve the quality of health care service in Maine."

This year their book club is reading Healing of America by T. R. Reid. Bangor's Dr. Erik Steele says:

"[The Healing of America is] the Rosetta Stone for understanding how America can afford health insurance for all of our people."
-Dr. Erik Steele, EMHS, Bangor Daily News

On Tues, Nov. 8 at 5:30 T. R. Reid will talk about his book at the Portland Public Library.
Bangor Public Library and other libraries in Maine will be joining this talk via video/conferencing. We invite your book group to participate in this program.
